June was joy to the Ender

Sadly we have had say goodbye to one of soap’s darlings – June Brown, who played Dot Cotton in EastEnders for 30 years.

She was 95 when she passed away after spending more than 70 years acting.

June once said: “I just want to act, I really do.”

Chainsmoking Dot was one of my favourite characters. She made me laugh and cry. Albert Square will never be the same.
