France chance for Karl

FRENCH sides Nantes and Montpellier are chasing Newcastle keeper Karl Darlow – and reckon they can land him for £2million.

Darlow, 31, joined Toon from Nottingham Forest for £4.5m in August 2014, and has attracted interest from Ligue 1 before – Rennes wanted him three years ago.

Newcastle are looking to bring in stronger competition for keeper Martin Dubravka, with Manchester United’s Dean Henderson among their targets.

And second-choice Darlow will be available this summer as the moneybags Magpies make room to splash out again.
