Locals furious at Patel’s scheme

RWANDANS yesterday continued to express fury and disgust at Priti Patel’s new plan to send refugees.

Politician Victoire Umuhoza Ingabire said: “Rwanda still has concerning issues regarding the quality of education and the increasing unemployment rate.

“It is unrealistic to think we are better suited to host refugees than the UK.” Shopkeeper Noah Muhumuza, below, added: “When the migrants are unable to find the better lives they were promised, they will probably just leave for the UK

again.”
