Gary treks to honour wife
CARING Gary Rushworth is walking 1,800 miles in memory of his wife.
Moira, 57, died in 2020 after developing progressive multiple sclerosis when she was aged just 39.
Gary, 64, from Barrow, Cumbria, will cross the UK twice and go from John o’ Groats to Land’s End, to raise money for MS.
Daughters Emily, 26, and Katie, 22, will support him.
He said: “We do something special on anniversaries with Moira in spirit.”
