Lost autistic teen found after 2 years
AN autistic teenager who disappeared more than two years ago was found asleep outside a convenience store 800 miles away.
Connerjack Oswalt was 16 when he went missing from his family home in Clearlake, California, in September 2019.
Failing to find him, his parents moved back to his birthplace in Idaho thinking he may go there.
Connerjack, 19, who had been living rough, was identified after police found him shivering near a shop in Park City, Utah, and took his fingerprints.
His mum Suzanne Flint said: “We searched all over California. We’re just grateful that he’s safe.”
Stepdad Gerald Flint added: “We’ve had a lot of false hope over the last two-and-a-half years.”
