Sea of red as parade hails Kim dynasty
THOUSANDS marched in a choreographed display of loyalty yesterday as North Korea marked 110 years since the birth of its founder, Kim Il-sung.
His grandson – current leader Kim Jong-un – waved as people carrying red plastic flowers paraded through Pyongyang.
There was no military hardware, amid tension over the country’s nuke programme. But weapons are due to be on show at a parade marking the formation of the army next week.
