Boris has failed as a leader

Should Boris Johnson resign over partygate? Yes, he should do the honourable thing and say: “I broke the law, so I must be held accountable.”

It doesn’t make sense that others in his party who have broken rules during Covid have had to pay the price with the loss of their jobs.

OK, so he didn’t hold a rave or an orgy, but that’s not the point. Time and time again, he has been shown to say one thing to his public and then do the complete opposite himself. How can we ever trust him again?

I want the leader of my country to be the custodian of high standards of integrity, transparency and honesty.

Boris must go.
