Coventry v B’mouth

-

Tomorrow, 3pm

SCOTT PARKER wants on-loan Manchester United defender Ethan Laird to keep posing a threat for Bournemouth after an impressive full debut.

Wing-back Laird, 20, joined the Cherries in January but has made just three appearances — two from the bench — with his first start coming in the goalless draw with Middlesbrough on Friday.

Cherries boss Parker (below) said: “He did very well, I was very impressed.

“He defended very well and, attacking-wise, he gives us a real threat.”

Coventry are three points off the play-off places after beating Birmingham 4-2 away on Friday.

Sky Blues boss Mark Robins said: “There’s a chance. The pressure starts to build and the supporters will be right there with us against Bournemouth after Friday’s result put us in a better position.”
