Paraglider in wing fail fall

A PARAGLIDER survived after plunging to the ground when the wing of his craft collapsed.

The man, 65, was winched on to a Coastguard helicopter after he plummeted 40ft in the Bowland Fells, Lancs, this week.

Last night he was still being treated in hospital.
