Jackson to stay as boss

-

JOHN RICHARDSON BURNLEY are ready to scrap their search for an interim manager and leave current caretaker boss Mike Jackson in charge for the rest of the season.

Chairman Alan Pace, who made the controversial decision to sack Sean Dyche, has been impressed with Under-23s coach Jackson’s work since he took over the reins at West Ham last Sunday.

Another decent showing today at Turf Moor against Wolves today is likely to extend his appointment, leaving him in charge for the final five make-orbreak games in the Clarets’ battle against relegation.
