Max bid by Toon for star

ALLAN SAINT-MAXIMIN has been promised a new deal at Newcastle amid interest from Paris SaintGermain.

There have been suggestions that the Toon would make star man SaintMaximin available this summer.

But co-owner Mehrdad Ghodoussi is understood to have told the player they want to build their new-look team around him.

Saint-Maximin (above) has been a huge hit with Newcastle fans since joining in 2019 and the club’s wealthy new owners know there would be major disappointment if he was sold.

He still has four years to run on his contract at St James’ Park, but he is set to be offered enhanced terms, which would bring him into line with the club’s other top earners.
