Ten in a row for brilliant Bayern

-

European Round-Up

BAYERN MUNICH were last night crowned Bundesliga champions for the 10th consecutive season.

Bayern’s 3-1 win over nearest rivals BORUSSIA DORTMUND ensured a decade of dominance as the celebrations began for Julian Nagelsmann’s side.

There was no stopping Bayern as they proved too strong for their rivals in Der Klassiker – and throughout this season – to win the title with three games still remaining.

Dortmund needed victory to halt Bayern’s procession to a historic crown, but never looked likely to prolong the title race.

They were run ragged in the first half as

Bayern led 2-0 courtesy of Serge Gnabry and Robert Lewandowski.

Emre Can’s 52nd-minute penalty breathed life back into Dortmund before Jamal Musiala (below with Nagelsmann) scored a third.

INTER beat Jose Mourinho’s ROMA 3-1 to return to the Serie A summit.

It means the title destiny is back in their hands after moving a point clear of AC Milan with five games left.

Just days after beating Milan to the Coppa Italia, Inter piled on more misery. Denzel Dumfries, Marcelo Brozovic and Lautaro Martinez were

all on target before Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s consolation.
