Kammy says bye to Sky after 24 yrs
FOOTBALL star Chris Kamara has announced he will leave Sky Sports at the end of this season.
The ex-Leeds, Bradford and Swindon ace, affectionately known as Kammy, is one of the bestloved pundits on Soccer Saturday and is wellknown for his catchphrase “Unbelievable Jeff!” while describing match action to presenter Jeff Stelling.
But last month Chris, 64, admitted “live TV might have to take a back seat” after he was diagnosed with apraxia, which slows and slurs speech.
And yesterday he tweeted: “After 24years at Sky Sports we have announced my departure. I have loved every minute...
“Working with Jeff & the boys has been Unbelievable! I’ve had a blast!”
