Vintage games worth more than Monopoly money
BOARD game fans can turn their play money into serious dosh – if they held on to their old sets.
A new survey shows an original 1935 Monopoly game is worth £118, while a mint condition 1991 limited edition (left) could be worth £600.
A 40th anniversary edition of Risk, the game of military strategy (below), might fire £200 into your back pocket.
And a word to the wise – an original 1931 Scrabble in good condition could fetch £151.
Casino website Top10Casinos.com researched online sales of games from the 1930s to 2000.
Spokesman Dan Dubey said: “Many of us could be sitting on a tidy windfall, if we can bear to part with them. Many of the rarest vintage board games are considered highly collectable.”
