Get lucky with Saka

-

ALWAYS better to be a lucky manager than a good one, and Mikel Arteta has had a right touch with the timing of his Eastenders visit.

West Ham (4.30pm) must go to Frankfurt on Thursday, chasing the game in a Europa semi.

The Irons’ post-Europe Sundays have been a mixed grill, with some proper bangers in a W3 D2 L5 tally. But all their eggs are now in the one basket, and today isn’t it.

Arteta has not had European pressures on his plate, which was lucky too, and his side seems to be born-again, again.

But they’ve turned a corner so often they might just be back where they started, and trusting

Arsenal odds-on away is always asking for trouble. Luckily for us the bookies just can’t seem to agree on how to price up the brilliant Bukayo Saka (above) as a goal threat.

One firm goes 6/4 ‘anytime scorer’, which is daft, but even allowing for some soft England goals, the 11/4 (Paddy) ‘anytime’ underrates

Saka on his stats.
