BLUES SALE TUCH ’N’ GO

-

THOMAS TUCHEL has poured scorn on suggestions the uncertainty over ownership at Chelsea has made him think about his long-term future.

Yet the initial optimism – that something would be sorted quickly – has long gone.

It seems Roman Abramovich wants an extra £500million to be given to ‘charity’.

Yeah, right.

What has always seemed odd is that Abramovich should agree to a sale in which he has no say in the first place.

Don’t forget, his assets have been frozen – not seized – and when it comes to a sale, Abramovich can make it difficult.

And, to be brutally honest, why wouldn’t he?

The Chelsea sale still has a difficult path to travel.

And as it drags on, Tuchel’s patience could yet wear thin.
