Jolly tattoos

For the first time, Butlin’s is to allow its Redcoats to display tattoos, as long as they are not offensive.

That means you can become a staffer at one of its holiday camps with “I love Mum” inked across your knuckles.

Fifty years ago, the Butlin’s advertising slogan was: “Holidays are Jollydays.”

In 2022, it should be: “Tattoos can come too.”
