O’Sullivan misses his usual cue

Ronnie O’Sullivan won his seventh World Snooker title on Sunday, with greater genius than ever before.

Even more amazing was that he didn’t make his normal speech, where he says: “I dunno why I bothered, I hate snooker. I’m gonna take up making cider, that looks like more fun. Or breed flamingos.

“This is all a hassle. I only popped in to the tournament as it was on the way to my mate Terry who does my hair. I’d rather lose, to be honest, I like losing”, before practising 12 hours every day so he wins it next year.
