School cash paid for hot tub and hols
A SCHOOL’S business manager stole £13,000 to buy holidays, clothes and a hot tub, a court heard.
Katherine Todd, 49, who admitted fraud, misused Trimley St Martin Primary’s cheques and cards for nearly three years.
A council probe also found she bought West End show tickets, camping kit and groceries.
Todd, of Felixstowe, Suffolk, got a 12-month suspended jail term and was ordered to pay £13,177 compensation, plus £13,500 in costs, at Ipswich magistrates court.
Suffolk County Council said: “This money should have been used to enhance the education of children.”
