Brum sale this month
BIRMINGHAM CITY is close to being sold – and a deal could be done by the end of the month.
One party is in exclusive talks with the current owners and the framework for it to change hands has been thrashed out.
The price is understood to be in the region of £35million and will include the return of St Andrew’s to the club’s ownership.
The prospective buyers are UK based and funds will be available to return the club to a more stable footing – and carry out much-needed repairs to the stadium.
Football League approval for the new buyers is expected to be requested within the next fortnight.
