Oh what a site for saur eyes

THEY roamed the Earth hundreds of millions of years ago – and from these pictures it looks they have been brought back to life as they were in 1993 classic movie Jurassic Park.

In fact, these are giant models at London landmarks to celebrate National Dinosaur Day today.

This is one of two annual dates, the other is June 1, aimed at teaching people about the extinct reptiles.

And that’s just as well – because a recent survey found a third of children think dinosaurs still roam the Earth and most want one to keep at home.

The study, commissioned by Mattel to launch its new Jurassic World Dominion toy range, found that 52 per cent of youngsters, aged from 6 to 10, firmly believe dinosaurs will be making a return sometime.

The events of today will also serve as a fundraiser for children who have

disabilities.
