Woman and three dogs die in smash
A WOMAN and her three dogs died after being hit by a car yesterday.
The victim, 41, was found dead by police, who were called to reports of a crashed Audi at 6.30am.
One witness described the “absolute carnage” on the residential street, with two dead labradors, another in distress and “several smashed cars”.
They added: “RIP lady and her dogs. So very sad. Prayers for your family.”
A man, 26, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Police said he sustained minor injuries.
The scene of the accident, in a mansion-lined street in Chelsea, West London, was yesterday being examined by forensics officers.
