Rescue dogs’ 5-star treat

HOMELESS hounds are having a splashing time at a revamped rehoming centre where they even have their own pool.

Dogs Trust staff have hailed the new facilities as a “five-star hotel for neglected dogs”.

The charity’s site, in Darlington, Co Durham, now boasts its first hydrotherapy pool, as well as a veterinary suite and scores of plush kennels.

Hydrotherapy builds up muscle mass and can help dogs recover after surgery.
