Melania tells of baby milk ‘heartbreak’
MELANIA Trump has described baby formula shortages in the US as “heartbreaking” in her first interview since leaving the White House.
In a clip of the interview, to be broadcast in the US today, she said: “It is sad children are struggling to eat in 21st Century USA.”
The former first lady has kept a low profile since her husband lost the 2020 presidential election.
President Joe Biden has been criticised for failing to explain how he will deal with the shortage caused by a factory closure.
Four firms control 90% of the US baby milk market and a boss said shortages could last all year.
