DOYLE PUSHES BUTTON ON NASHWA OAKS BID
HOLLIE DOYLE declared “she’s got all the credentials to go to the top” as Nashwa staked a Cazoo Oaks claim at Newbury.
Trained in tandem by John and Thady Gosden, Frankel’s daughter showed a sharp turn of speed to win the Listed Hars De Bouquetot Fillies’ Trial Stakes by a length and three-quarters.
Sporting the colours of Imad Al Sagar, part-owner of 2007 Derby hero Authorized, Doyle – whose mount is 7-1 (from 12-1) for Epsom on June 3 – said: “I pushed that button and she found top gear straight away.
“I can’t fault her - she’s got all the credentials to go to the top.”
Nashwa also holds an entry in the Prix de Diane at Chantilly and Thady Gosden added: “She has got plenty of toe, so that will be a possibility.”
