Hero keeper Alisson added: “It’s amazing. It was such a good performanc­e, it was a shame we didn’t score.

“I just had to save the last one. It was good, hey?

“And this gives us more confidence in the Premier League and also the Champions League Final.”

Boss Jurgen Klopp is hopeful Salah’s injury is not too serious saying:

“Mo came and he said he could carry on, but felt a little thing. I hope he will be fine.”
