Opening last month, The Standard Ibiza is the White Isle’s latest hot hotel to grace its shores, fronting the main plaza, Vara de Rey, in the heart of the Old Town.

The American hip hotel brand’s second launch in Europe is set in a dazzling white building offering 53 suites with 14-room private residence, Casa Privado, a block away.

Embracing the island’s hippie legacy of the 1960s, decor is bright and eclectic, and the landscaping lush. Street-level restaurant Jara spills out onto the plaza, serving a farm-to-table menu.
