One of my all-time heroes is George Michael, who was celebrated at Nordoff Robbins’ O2 Silver Clef Awards on Friday.
His Bechstein grand piano, which stood in his London home for years, was auctioned off for £200k.
And the loot went to the music therapy charity, which helps those affected by illness, isolation or disability.
In 1989, when George was 27, he was honoured with Nordoff Robbins’ iconic Silver Clef Award for his outstanding contribution to UK music.
I attended the awards in 2003 with Blue and it was one of the best days ever.
I will always support such incredible causes.
I always used to think I fancied the Spice Girls but
since I came out,
Mel B has gone from crush to mate and I love her.
In the 90s, Baby and Ginger were probably my favourites but in the end, of course, I didn’t fancy any of them.
Mel B is one of my besties. She is another strong independent
woman. She may be scary but she’s such a sweetheart.

Hats off to Rebel Wilson, Jake Daniels and Dame Kelly
Holmes for coming out. I spent years worrying about telling people I was gay. And when I finally came out to my mum, I cried so much she thought I was going to tell her I was dying.
Now it is lovely to see people be open about who they are.
It’s so important to be able to live your life the way you want
without feeling scared.
Last week, my favourite showbiz column Watts The Goss revealed actress Jaime Winstone got engaged at Glastonbury.
She confirmed the news this week by posting these incredible snaps with her fiancé James Suckling.
She told friends she was “on cloud nine” as she hosted the official launch of the Grey Goose Season of Spritz Picnic Series.
What an exciting time for her. I hope my wedding invite doesn’t get lost in
the post…
