Tourist hurt in Majorcan hotel plunge

-

A MAN has suffered serious injuries after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Majorca.

The Irish tourist, 20, was found in a gap between the hotel and a low wall at 4.30am yesterday.

A local report said he told medics he fell while being chased at the fourstar Jardin del Mar Beach Hotel in Santa Ponsa.

His friends followed the ambulance to hospital in nearby capital, Palma.

The incident follows the death of a British tourist, 34, who fell from the seventh floor of a hotel in Magaluf on May 12.

Santa Ponsa, on the west of the island, is popular with Irish tourists.
