Beach terror as shark kills woman of 68
A WOMAN has died after being savaged by a shark at an Egyptian resort.
The 68-year-old Austrian lost an arm and a leg at Sahl Hasheesh, near Hurghada on the Red Sea.
She struggled back to the beach as the water around her turned red.
But the woman, thought to be married to an Eygptian man, died of shock in an ambulance on Friday.
Meanwhile, a teenage girl lost a leg to a shark in Florida on Thursday.
It struck as Addison Bethea, 17, was scalloping with her half brother Rhett Willingham, 22, at Keaton Beach, Taylor County.
Rhett beat the shark off and used a tourniquet to stem the bleeding before his sister was airlifted to hospital. Doctors had to amputate her right leg.
