Family-owned MSC is taking children of all ages and their parents to a new level on latest ship World Europa.

When she launches in December she will have the Swiss line’s largest kids’ area – covering more than 8,200 square feet across seven distinct spaces – and more than 100 hours of live entertainm­ent on offer including hi-tech games, VR stations, drone races and Lego adventures.

Kids’ clubs will cater up to older teens, with a dedicated childcare service run in collaborat­ion with global baby brand Chicco. New on board will be Beat the Music, an interactiv­e digital game show for both parents and youngsters. A spokesman said: “We have invested heavily in the entertainm­ent offering for our younger guests, and we know they value the latest technology, trends and experience­s.’’

The environmen­tally advanced 6,762 passenger World Europa flagship – now under constructi­on in Saint-Nazaire, France – will debut in Doha, Qatar, on December 20 then homeport in Dubai. msccruises.co.uk
