So Dan says it can help if you get a friend to join you, explaining: “It is easy to press snooze on that alarm if you’re only accountabl­e for yourself.

“But if you have arranged to meet a friend for a jog in the park, or have booked a fitness class together, you are less likely to miss it as you won’t want to let them down.”
