We all lead busy lives, so it can be hard to find the time to incorporat­e exercise. But if you make it part of your regular routine, it should soon become a habit.

“Commit to when and where you are going to exercise and write it in your diary,” says Dan.

“Even if you just get up half an hour earlier three times a week to walk the dog before work, it all counts – and if you book it in your diary, you are more likely to do it.”
