THE mum of Love Island’s Danica Taylor reckons the way her girl has handled romantic knockbacks is winning fans over.
Lindsey Taylor says Danica “isn’t snakey or a bitch” and has held her head high – and she is thrilled to see her pair up with “gorgeous” Josh Le Grove.
Lindsey said: “They look incredible together. Seeing her walk in last night, she seemed genuinely happy – how she looked at him and he looked at her.”
Danica, 21, had a rocky start in the villa, being faced with a recoupling just 24 hours after she arrived.
The dancer picked Luca Bish, who was coupled up with Gemma Owen, but failed to win him over.
She then tried to flirt with Andrew Le Page, Jay Younger and fan favourite Davide Sanclimenti, who all said they felt no romantic connection. Her decision to then recouple with Jay sparked a row with Antigoni Buxton, who had her eye on the Scots investment analyst.
But when Danica landed in the bottom two last week, she was saved after the boys ditched Antigoni.
She finally coupled up with model Josh, 22, on her return from Casa Amor.
Lindsey said: “As long as he’s a nice boy and treats her right then all good.

“My favourite moment was her going into Casa Amor and seeing her smile.
“She’s managed to chat to a few different people and hadn’t got anywhere but she held her head high.
“She’s a strong, lovely girl… they’re seeing that side of her come out now. It’s why they’re warming to her more.
“She’s not snakey or a bitch – she’ll have your back. She needs someone who she can be silly with but is equally as career-minded as she is.”
