Naomi’s girl is tough and ‘doesn’t cry’
NAOMI Campbell has said her daughter is growing up to be “tough” like her mum.
The supermodel, 52, revealed via Instagram that she had become a parent in May last year.
She has not disclosed the child’s name but told the BBC: “She’s very tough. She falls down, she doesn’t cry… she doesn’t cry much at all.”
Campbell spoke out after receiving an honorary doctorate from the University for the Creative Arts for her impact on fashion.
And she said that while the industry claims to embrace diversity, that isn’t always the case.
Naomi said: “In Paris, I’ve only found a make-up artist in the last two years of colour. One. I’ve always spoken because it’s what my experience is.”
