Accolade for cave heroes

CAVE divers Rick Stanton and John Volanthen, who helped rescue a kids’ soccer team trapped in Thailand in 2018, have been given honorary degrees.

Rick, of Coventry, and John, of Bristol, who navigated 1.6 miles of flooded caves, were honoured by the University of Bristol.
