Tiny holiday baby too ill to fly home
A BABY born prematurely on holiday must remain in Turkey while his devastated dad flies home today.
Medics say tiny Jack Baxter is too poorly to travel from a special care unit in the capital Antalya.
Mum Emma, 39, will stay while dad Danny and sisters Milly, ten and Lilly, six, return to Norwich.
Jack was just over 2.2lb and had his heart restarted when he was born three months early on June 30.
Emma said: “We hoped he’d be flown home by air ambulance, but he took a turn for the worse. Danny is devastated. But we cannot afford to all stay.”
The uninsured couple have set up a GoFundMe page. To donate go to: gofundme.com/f/getpremature-baby-Jackhome-from-Turkey.
