Teen killed by farmmachine

A TEENAGE farmhand has died after getting trapped in a hay bale wrapping machine.

Police gave no further details of the victim but said his next of kin had been informed.

Emergency services including an air ambulance were called to the farm in Plympton, Plymouth, on June 22.

But the labourer could not be saved. He was declared dead at the scene.

The Health and Safety Executive said the death was being treated as a work-related incident.
