Free climber sentenced for parachute jump off coaster
URBAN free climber George KingThompson has been handed a fourmonth suspended prison sentence by a Spanish court for BASE jumping from Europe’s tallest and fastest rollercoaster.

Red Force. George, 22, from Oxford – previously jailed for scaling The Shard in London in 2019 – admitted to breaking and entering into an establishment open to the public. An 18-year-old Spaniard, who filmed the stunt, received the same penalty. They were also each fined £400 at a Barcelona court.
George confirmed he had landed himself in hot water in a social media post: “Once I landed I got swarmed by security/police.”
