Go Dutch via Eurostar

Tourist and business hotspots in the Netherland­s will soon be within easier reach for travellers as Eurostar expands its service.

A fourth direct train will depart from London St Pancras Internatio­nal Station to

Rotterdam Centraal station, with a journey time of just over three hours, which carries on to Amsterdam Centraal station, arriving in just under four hours.

Beginning on September 5, the service will run from Monday to Friday departing at 6.16am, with one-way tickets from £39, which are now available to purchase.

Head of Amsterdam route at Eurostar, Els Buzzi, said: “The ever-growing demand for highspeed trains between the Netherland­s and the UK shows that both business and leisure travellers appreciate the convenienc­e and comfort of travelling by Eurostar. The fourth service will give our customers even more choice and flexibilit­y when planning their journey, safe in the knowledge that Eurostar is the greener way to go from city centre to city centre.”
