UEFA NEED GOOD KICK IN POCKET
I READ what Liveroool boss Jurgen Klopp had to say on the disgusting organisation at the Champions League Final, and it puts everything into perspective.
He said he spoke to 50 people who were there, presumably with tickets he got for them, and 47 had the same experience as all those Liverpool fans who were treated abysmally by the police and UEFA.
Even his own family were caught up in it, just as my lad was, and suffered one of the worst experiences of his life.
I saw that Martin Kallen, the CEO of UEFA Events, and largely responsible for the Final’s organisation, testified at the French senate. And, despite all the evidence PROVING it wrong, he still trotted out that ridiculous line of massive ticket fraud and even said their intelligence showed Liverpool fans would try to invade the pitch.
That makes me wonder how the hell the UEFA inquiry can be independent and totally unbiased?
If this guy is going to simply bring out a load of lies as a defence for his incompetence, then what does it say about the fairness of any investigation?
Just look at the facts given by people like Klopp and me – and thousands and thousands of others – which showed horrific experiences… and the potential for life to have been lost.
I think the time has come for fans to get together and hit UEFA and the French government where it hurts most – in their pockets.
I believe there should be a class legal action to get them to pay for the suffering their incompetence caused – for the personal harm and for the financial loss.
So many people spent thousands on getting to Paris and on tickets for the final on what should have been one of the greatest days of their lives.
And it turned into a nightmare.
They deserve compensation for that – and if UEFA have to pay out millions, then they will ensure it never happens again. I can guarantee that.
