Boxer Chris tells of grief over son
CHRIS Eubank has told of his agony at losing son Sebastian, a year after his sudden death at just 29.
Boxing legend Chris and Seb’s widow Salma Abdelati spoke of their grief to mark the anniversary.
Seb, who had an undiagnosed heart condition, went into cardiac arrest in shallow waters off Dubai on July 7 last year.
His son Raheem was just a week old at the time.
Salma said launching the Sebastian Eubank Charitable Foundation has helped give her “perspective”. It works to continue
projects Seb started to tackle poverty in Sudan.
Former middleweight champ Chris, 55, said: “I can’t tell you how proud I am of this man. Every moment I spent with him was my favourite.”
Salma added: “Seb was so proud of his dad. It was a deep relationship – and a spiritual one.”
