Star’s Harty send-off
EastEnders geezer Danny Dyer can expect a no-expense-spared Russell in the Queen Vic when he leaves in October.
That’s Russell Harty, as in party, for all you non-Cockneys.
Danny, who plays Mick Carter, is set to bow out of the BBC soap in explosive Christmas episodes, which will be filmed
in October. And co-star Brian Conley, who plays Rocky, says the cast and crew will throw him a bash in Walford’s favourite pub and refill the kegs with pig’s ear (beer).
He tells me: “Oh, it will have to be at the Queen Vic, won’t it?
“At the moment, there isn’t any beer in the kegs, so they’ll have to refill
them.”
