Brit dies in hotel room ‘sex game’

POLICE believe a British man died when a sex game went wrong in an Italian hotel early yesterday.

The man, 40, was found dead in his room with a woman thought to be his wife, 43. Both were covered in cuts and bruises.

Staff at the four-star Hotel Continentale, near the Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence, raised the alarm after the woman asked a maid for help.

The pair had arrived on Friday night.

A police source said: “She was more seriously hurt and the man appears to have had a seizure.”

The woman was in a serious but stable condition in hospital last night.
