Homes hit by petrol bombs
TWO houses were damaged by petrol bombs in Northern Ireland in the early hours of yesterday.
In the first attack in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim, a bomb smashed through a living room window at about 12.40am, police said.
The second incident took place in Portrush two hours later.
A Police Service of Northern Ireland spokesman said it “caused scorch damage” to the house’s front.
Nobody was injured in either incident.
