Alstroemeria ‘Uranus’

-

Alstroemerias or Peruvian lilies are herbaceous perennials that make excellent cut flowers and are favourites with florists for their longevity. They are also good performers in the garden, flowering from June and often persisting until the start of autumn.

‘Uranus’ is a very pretty, hardy variety with silky pink petals with yellow and purple markings. Plant in a sunny, sheltered position with good drainage and apply a thick mulch of bark which will help protect them from cold in winter.
