It must be the Scilly season

I’ve been in the glorious Isles of Scilly this week, where life is so different from places that have things.

For example, the newsagent doesn’t sell newspapers on a Sunday as the boat doesn’t come that day. So one Sunday a customer asked for a paper, and was asked: “Do you want today’s or yesterday’s?”

He said: “Today’s please”, so he was told: “Then you’ll have to come back tomorrow.”
