46% of men won’t eat out without dog

MAN’S best friend really is his dog – 46% won’t dine out without taking them whatever the occasion.

But women are happier to leave their pooch behind with just 27% insisting they come too.

A poll for OpenTable says nearly half of dog owners find it difficult to get a pet-friendly eaterie.

Around 61% book ahead for outside spots so they can take their dogs, with pub gardens top choice.

Nearly a third aim for a beachfront, a quarter go for a courtyard and 18% choose rooftop bars.
