Brunt bags new record
KATHERINE BRUNT became England’s leading wicket-taker in international T20s as South Africa were once again beaten.
England overcame an improved performance from the tourists but still comfortably won the second T20 by six wickets at Worcester.
The hosts chased 149 with an over to spare, with Nat Sciver hitting 47 and Danni Wyatt 39.
Having made 111 in Thursday’s defeat in the first T20, South Africa posted 148-6.
Veteran bowler Brunt (above), 37, topped the England charts with her 103rd wicket after dismissing Laura Wolvaardt in the final over.
