SINNERS & WINNERS

- BY JULIE STOTT

LEE RADFORD claims Castleford are already Grand Final quality — and he hates it!

The Tigers strengthened their hold on fifth spot following their 46-18 win at Hull on Friday.

But it came at a cost with three players — George Lawler, Jake Mamo and Derrell Olpherts — getting sin-binned and facing possible bans.

The three yellow cards took their tally of yellows or reds to almost 20 this season and Radford is sick of it.

He said: “I genuinely think we are the most yellow-carded team in the competition.

“We got another three so we’re really making a push for the

Grand Final in terms of yellow cards. We are untouchable.”

Cas actually scored three tries while down to 12 men and Radford said: “We are good at defending it.

“We have had a lot of experience of this.”

Olpherts was sin-binned for fighting with Connor Wynne, who was also binned, but Radford said: “It’s fisticuffs. Neither should be sent to the bin for that.”
